In recent years, an increasing number of people in Japan are enjoying camping, one of the most popular outdoor leisure activities. Many people consider loading their tent, sleeping bags and barbecue set into their car, then pitching the tent and starting a fire at the camp grounds to be the true pleasures of camping. However, there are also surely many others who want to enjoy camping more casually and freely without needing any equipment, as well as in style!
Allow us to introduce Glamping Field in Hara Village – the Village of Falling Stars, a glamping facility that satisfies this desire.
Glamping Field in Hara Village – the Village of Falling Stars, located in the field in front of Rest House Mominokiso in Hara Village, features wooden decks and bed-equipped tents, and even provides guests with meals for a “luxury camping” experience.
Two types of tents are available, named Hoshi (Star) and Tsuki (Moon), respectively. Maximum capacity is four guests per tent.
The interiors of the tents are equipped with beds. Other preparations include a small refrigerator, air-conditioner, and heated carpet.
The equipment, utensils and ingredients required for meals are also provided. The barbecue set includes dishes and items that enable you sumptuously enjoy the outdoors, such as meat (all of which is selected from meat produced in the Shinshu area), bouillabaisse, salad, an assortment of smoked foods, rice (to be cooked on-site), and more.
For bathing, we recommend Momi no Yu, a natural hot spring facility just a short walk away. Bathing here is free for glamping facility guests! You can leisurely wash away your sweat in the large bath.
Enjoy a rich camping experience while gazing at the starry sky above Hara Village and basking in the highland breezes.
Lastly, allow us to introduce a dish that is most definitely photogenic.
Pancakes are available at the restaurant inside Rest House Mominokiso, which runs the glamping facility. They are served in cute shapes that seem right out of a picture book. Why not have lunch at the restaurant while glamping?
